A late 18th century elm Windsor style elbow chair, the arch back with central shaped splat having shield motif, above a solid seat raised on ring turned legs, linked by a crinoline stretcher.
Over all condition is fair to good for a chair of this age. the colour is of a warm honey shade. One spindle to the crinoline stretcher may be a replacement as its a slightly different colour to the rest of the under framing(see Jpeg). There are natural splits to the top rail (see jpeg), There has been a piece let in where the top rail meets the elbow support, (see jpeg). there are two very old screws holding the centre splat to the middle rail.
